| Brother star 40e sewing machine |
Friday 20th September.
I had my sewing machine induction, I used the Brother star 40e machine. In a group we got fimilar with the sewing machine's we had. We did this by getting to know and pointing to the stich selectors, the stich width dial, the stitch length adjuster, the reverse button, the feed teeth and the needle position. Once i had done that i had my 'driving test' this was simply just following the lines on the paper sheets, the first one was straight lines, the second was curved and the third was diagonal lines, this task would have gone alot easier if the paper didn't keep ripping. After the driving test i threaded up the machine I was on and I was set the task to do one straight line of each stitch the machine allowed, this was on calico. Everything i collected and created on this induction will be part of my tech file.
