Observational Drawing

The first task do to when starting a new project is research, I document this in an A4 sketchbook. Both primary and secondary research is vital. As a class we spent a day doing observational drawing, as it is a separate unit that needed doing, it is also part of my primary research as the set up was created from natural and man made objects.

During our observational drawing day, we got set different tasks to do using different coloured paper and different media. This included pencil,white paint,chalk, coloured inks and fine liner and water. I didn't enjoy observational drawing but I did enjoy using different media to do so as I learnt new techniques which I can use in my sketchbook. 

In conclusion I would consider it a success.
