Natural Vs Man Made - Visual Sheets

The next step after creating mood boards are visual sheets, these are extensions of mood boards, and they lead on to development sheets.
By taking patterns and images from my natural mood board i created this visual sheet, this is where i created my colour scheme too. Using summery 'flower' colours i used gouache to create this visual sheets. This is where my project first really came to life and started developing. I really like this sheet, i think it is to a high standard although i did not enjoy doing it as it took a lot of time and patience.

This second sheet is dedicated to insects as these are a big part of my theme. I used tracing paper to layer this up and used a lot dots to create depth. This idea came from my sketchbook. (It is explained in my sketchbook post).

This visual sheet is based on the man made theme, i create this using water colour's ad gouache, i did not enjoy doing this sheet as i did not need to do it, i could have used my time more wisely and created more natural themed visual sheets. I also do not like the way it looks.

In conclusion to my visual sheets post, i enjoyed doing my natural themed visual sheets, although they are time consuming i think they look good and they are a good starting point for my development sheets. I did not enjoy doing the man made themed visual sheet and i would consider it a waste of my time.
