Yesterday I spent the day finishing off my collection of 6 needle felted bacterial petri dishes. I had already done four so that left me two to complete yesterday. I did these two final needle felted bacterial petri dishes using the same technique as I did the last four, So I shall not bore you with how I did everything, Just check my last two needle felting post's here and here. I wanted to make my last two needle felting's unique so I used distinctive colours.
As you can see I have made these last two felting's rather bold and unique using all the colour's I had and not matching them but just putting any colour's together. I have also used orange organza and different colour angelina fibers and needle felted them into the top and used an iron to fuse them together.
Above are close up's of the last two feltings I did. I am completely happy with them all and I am proud that I have something ready for my exhibition already! My idea's for this to buy some actual petri dishes and place these in them for my exhibition. If anyone has any better idea's please leave some feedback in the comment box below.
